Job Title: Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology Banding: Band 6 Location: Wexham Park Hospital - Wexham St, Slough SL2 4HL Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Core hours only Hourly Rate: £25 - £27 We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join our client’s team in Wexham Park Hospital. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service. Key Responsibilities You will perform culture, identification, and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens. You will detect bacterial infections using manual and automated techniques. Qualifications and Experience - At least 3 years’ experience in a Microbiology lab. - Microbiology lab automation experience on instruments ( Kiestra, Urimast, Maldi, Iris, Bactec, Entericbio). - Able to analyse results and to report them - Specialist portfolio or experience Band 6 Why Work with Pulse?
