Backend Engineer (Node.js + Kafka & AI Integration) **Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale high-throughput financial technology systems. You will build event-driven architectures and integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into core banking services. This role focuses on creating resilient, real-time data pipelines for a major banking client. **Key Responsibilities** - **Design Event Pipelines**: Build high-throughput, fault-tolerant real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka. - **Develop Microservices**: Write clean, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. - **Integrate AI Capabilities**: Connect LLMs, predictive models, and AI-driven automation tools into backend workflows. - **Optimize Data Flows**: Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and schema registries for financial transactions. - **Ensure High Security**: Implement strict banking-grade compliance, data encryption, and secure API authorization layers. - **Monitor Infrastructure**: Set up deep observability, logging, and tracing using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
