**Beau Jo’s Pizza** Job Description **Hourly Non-Exempt Position** **Position Title**: Back of house (BOH) **PURPOSE**: Prepare food accurately to order and dietary specifications and according to Beau Jo’s standards, quality and speed levels. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards. **Essential DUTIES:** - Prepare food items according to our standards of quality, recipe consistency, and timelines. - Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and company standards. - Maintain adequate stocking, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day. - Complete prep tasks as needed according to recipe, procedure, quality and speed standards. - Operate equipment safely as determined by company safety standards and OSHA regulations. - Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring that the food that leaves the kitchen exceeds expectations and is made accurately. **OTHER DUTIES:** - Respond to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications. - Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating per company and safety standards. - Work closely and communicate with FOH staff in a high pace environment, while doing a variety of "time restraint" tasks. **Essential Physical Requirements:** 100% Stand or walk. 75% Work at Approx. 36" table/stove and reach in approx. 36”. 75% Perform duties at a continuous high pace, while maintaining quality and speed standards. 50% View and read orders from a printed ticket. 50% Lift and carry sacks, boxes, products up to 50 lbs. from floor to above waist level, approx. 20 feet and sometimes involving stairs. **Essential TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:** Successful completion of hourly position validations, including reading training materials. **Qualifications**: - Beau Jo’s will hire aged 16+ and will remain in compliance with Colorado Youth Law under the CO Youth Employment Opportunity Act (C.R.S. 8-12-101 *et seq.*) - Minors may not work more than 40 hours per week or 8 hours in any 24-hour period. - Previous line cook experience in pizzeria (Preferred) – Training provided - Ability to read and follow recipes and identify measurements **** **COMPENSATION:** The hourly rate for this role ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 depending on experience. **FULL-TIME BENEFITS:** Full-time employees are considered those who work a minimum of 30+ hours weekly and are eligible for – - Medical (Employer pays 70%) - Dental - Vision - 401k - $16.00 employee food credit during working hours - 50% Employee and 30% family discounts - Loveland and Gold Passes-accepted locations Ski Passes - Flexible scheduling - Paid vacation - Colorado Paid Sick Leave **PART-TIME BENEFITS:** - $16.00 employee food credit during working hours - Flexible scheduling - Colorado Paid Sick Leave - 50% Employee and 30% family discounts **APPLICATION INFORMATION:** - This application will remain open until filled. - Interested candidates can apply through this job posting or at [Job & Career Opportunities in Colorado | Beau Jo's](https://www.beaujos.com/about-us/employment/) - Additional questions or to request an accommodation, please contact the HR Director at LHesson@BeauJos.com. *Beau Jo’s is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment.
