Learn more about ENSCO. Position Description ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Logistics Specialist skilled in Technical Documentation for embedded control systems. Avionic components such as engine controls, flight controls, and cabin systems require significant procedure, operation, and technical manuals that enable safety of flight operations. The documentation updates require the use of word, excel, and adobe tool sets with final documentation located in Windchill documentation management systems. Requirements can be pulled from the DOORS requirements management system. Candidate will review customer (both internal and external) questions about procedures and manuals and evaluate delta and scope updates to the documentation. Candidate will work with Engineering and ILS systems teams for implementation and verification of the updated manuals. Knowledge of hardware systems assembly and schematic interface high level functionality a plus though not required for the position. Qualifications Required • BS Technical degree or equivalent • Experience with documentation systems such as Windchill. • Experience with Documentation Tool sets such as Adobe Creator. • Ability to discuss and understand technical communications. • Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments • Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Secret Security clearance, for which you must be a U.S Citizen Qualifications Desired • Ability to work on-site • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and part lists. • Avionic experience with DOORS or similar requirement databases • Demonstrated functional knowledge of hardware, software, and firmware technical documentation and avionics engineering tools, best practices, and industry standards.
