We'd love to meet you!** ## Job Description We're looking for an experienced **Diagnostic/Heavy Line Automotive Technician** who takes pride in solving complex vehicle issues and delivering quality repairs the first time. In this role, you'll: - Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns on Ford vehicles. - Perform maintenance and repairs efficiently while meeting Ford and dealership quality standards. - Use factory diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues. - Complete thorough multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or safety recommendations. - Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure an exceptional customer experience. - Work closely with the Parts Department to keep repairs moving efficiently. - Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, warranty information, and labor operations. - Road test vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship. - Mentor apprentice technicians and help foster a collaborative team environment. - Participate in ongoing Ford factory training and stay current with the latest technology, repair procedures, and technical service bulletins. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all dealership and safety policies. - Treat every customer's vehicle with the professionalism and care you would expect for your own.
