**Accounting & Title Clerk** We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable **Accounting & Title Clerk** to join our team at Dover Mazda GMC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle deals from start to finish while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all accounting and title-related transactions. **Responsibilities:** - Process vehicle deals from funding through final accounting. - Post vehicle sales deals accurately into the dealership management system. - Process title work for new and used vehicle sales, ensuring compliance with all state regulations. - Prepare and remit title applications, registration paperwork, and applicable taxes to the appropriate Court Clerk offices. - Process and track trade payoff payments, ensuring liens are satisfied promptly. - Manage dealer trade transactions, including all required paperwork and accounting entries. - Process inventory stock-ins for new and used vehicles. - Maintain and reconcile vehicle inventory schedules and ensure inventory records remain accurate. - Work closely with the sales, finance, and management teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely deal processing. - Maintain organized records and ensure all documentation is complete and audit-ready. - Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** - Previous automotive dealership accounting and title experience. - Knowledge of vehicle titling procedures and dealership accounting practices, including out of state transactions. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. - Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. **What We're Looking For:** We're looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of timely, compliant processing.
