Automotive Accounting Clerk

**Tooele Motor Company** is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented **Accounting Clerk** to join our growing dealership team in Tooele, Utah. As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll help ensure the financial operations of the dealership run smoothly by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting multiple departments throughout the organization. ## **Compensation & Benefits** - **$16 - $19 per hour**, based on experience - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Paid holidays - Paid training - Career advancement opportunities - Employee discounts - Stable, full-time position - Friendly, team-oriented work environment ## ## ## **Responsibilities** - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Post vehicle deals and maintain accurate dealership financial records - Prepare and reconcile daily deposits and cash receipts - Process invoices and vendor payments - Assist with title paperwork and deal documentation as needed - Reconcile bank statements, schedules, and dealership accounts - Maintain organized accounting files and financial records - Assist with month-end closing activities - Respond to internal accounting and administrative requests - Work closely with the sales, service, parts, and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting - Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned ## ## ## **Qualifications** - Previous accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or automotive dealership experience preferred - Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus - Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles - Experience with dealership management systems (Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, or similar) is a plus - Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines - High level of integrity and professionalism ## ## ## ## **Why Join Tooele Motor Company?** At Tooele Motor Company, we’re committed to creating an environment where employees can build rewarding, long-term careers.
