## Overview **THIS IS A DUAL RATE POSITION, open to current employees who are part time or full time. This opportunity provides a wage of $30/Hr plus tips!** The Event Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during Jackson Rancheria entertainment events. Duties include ticket collection, assisting guests with seating, answering questions, and monitoring guest behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. ## Responsibilities - Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines. - Greet guests upon arrival and provide a positive first impression. - Accurately and efficiently scan or check tickets to verify guest admission. - Direct guests to their assigned seats, assist with locating exits, restrooms, and concession stands, and assist guests with special needs such as mobility and accessibility accommodations as needed and able. - Provide guests with event programs, schedules, or other materials. - Answer questions about the property, amenities, and event details in a courteous manner. - Maintain order by seating guests efficiently and addressing crowd flow. - Monitor guest behavior and report any concerns regarding guest safety or behavior to management and/or security. - Stand at assigned exits and notify guests alcoholic beverages must remain within the venue. - Illuminate walkways with a flashlight to safely guide patrons in darkened areas. - Ensure exit pathways are clear, properly lit, and free of obstructions. - Perform light housekeeping such as removing debris from the concert area and smoothing rugs to prevent tripping hazards. - Collaborate with fellow event attendants, management, and security staff to maintain a safe, organized environment. - Maintain a positive, professional appearance and attitude at all times. - Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction including assisting food and beverage operations if requested. ## Qualifications - Able to obtain & maintain a Jackson Rancheria Gaming License. - No experience is required, though previous experience in a guest service related position would be preferred. - **This opportunity provides a wage of $30/Hr plus tips!** To be eligible for this Dual Rate position, employees must be able to provide event support for at least one of the following dates/events. Doors open at 6pm and concerts begin at 7pm.
