The coach will provide a positive and safe environment where student-athletes can develop both on and off the court while representing the school with integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and conduct daily practices that focus on volleyball fundamentals, teamwork, and game strategy. Coach student-athletes during practices and competitions. Foster good sportsmanship, discipline, respect, and a positive team culture. Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes. Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and the athletic director. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and other team activities. Maintain and inventory team equipment and uniforms. Follow all school, district, and state athletic policies and regulations. Encourage academic success and model positive leadership and professionalism. Attend required coaches' meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and coaching principles. Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with middle school-aged students. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
