Position acts as an assistant to the Manager in their scheduled location for Sunrise Enterprises of Roseburg, Inc., a private non-profit Corporation that provides employment and community inclusion services for adults with disabilities. This position will manage day-to-day store operations and provide supervision and support to all store staff, EPs, volunteers, and participants. Inspire greatness in both the individuals we serve and our team members by fostering a culture of encouragement, growth, and high performance. **Details:** - Assistant Store Manager - $16.50/DOE - Benefits Eligible - Hours vary including weekends **Qualifications:** - High-school diploma or GED. - At least one year’s mid-level supervisory retail experience is required. - At least 18 years of age. - Demonstrate strong team-building capabilities and a high level of proficiency, with the ability to train others effectively and efficiently. - Some exposure to working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in an employment setting preferred. - Proficient in email communication, word processing, and cloud-based applications, including Microsoft 365, LBoss, timekeeping applications, and case management software, e.g. SetWorks, Paycor. - Must have ability and desire to relate to people with physical/mental disabilities with dignity and respect. - Proven, stable employment history. - Valid Oregon driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurable by Sunrise insurance carrier. - Pass criminal history check, and a drug test including THC. - Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification. - Required to obtain OIS Certification and believe in its philosophy. **Working Conditions/Hours** Daily and hourly Store hours are typically Sunday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend work is possible due to scheduling, employment service contracts, and sales demand. Overtime may be required with prior approval from the direct supervisor. **Physical/Mental Requirements** Standing 6-8 hours per day, sitting 1-3 hours per day, walking, reaching above and below shoulder, grasping, kneeling, bending, driving, and able to perform all essential functions. Occasional lifting up to 45 lbs. Able to handle and diffuse tense or difficult situations. Operates pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Reasonable accommodation will be provided for a person with a disability under the ADA. **Essential Functions:** - Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations. - Assist manager with compliance of Sunrise Policy and Procedures. - Supervise all staff and participants in performing daily operations of store. - Function as store manager in manager’s absence. - Perform duties and complete tasks as requested by supervisor in a reasonable amount of time. - At the beginning of each shift, promptly review emails, daily schedules, and staff assignments. Ensure the sales floor is properly staffed, merchandise is organized and displayed according to standards, and team members are prepared to deliver excellent customer service.
