Position Summary: Play a critical role in driving business success by providing strategic interim coverage across open sales territories nationwide. In this highly visible position, you'll take ownership of all aspects of territory management while promoting a specialized Neurology product to Movement Disorder Specialists and Neurologists. Interim coverage would likely span a 1-6 month period and then the role would be reassigned to a different opening for a 1-6 month span of time. Primary Responsibilities: Effectively impact existing and new customers by providing exceptional value and service that helps providers identify and start appropriate patients on therapy Educate physicians, physician staff, and other healthcare professionals on the value of Acadia's products for patient care; utilize product knowledge, critical thinking, dialogue skills, sales resources, and clinical materials to deliver meaningful customer experiences and address questions, objections, and concerns Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including key opinion leaders (KOLs), utilize appropriate techniques to gain customer access, identify customer concerns, and coordinate with appropriate internal stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner Analyze sales potential and execute territory plans to optimize call activity, reach, frequency, business meals, speaker programs, and other approved activities to achieve strong business results while operating within budget and policy guidelines Develop, evaluate, and adjust quarterly business and action plans as needed to maximize territory performance Provide guidance regarding pricing and reimbursement for promoted products and serve as a liaison between customers and the Company when reimbursement questions arise Prepare and submit timely reports, maintain accurate expense records, and remain compliant with all regulations, company policies, and procedures Collaborate with sales leadership, regional and area teammates, and cross-functional partners; attend conferences, trainings, meetings, exhibits, and product launches as required Participate in leadership activities, mentoring, field training, cross-functional projects, and Area, Regional, and National meeting training activities as appropriate; consistently carry out responsibilities with proficiency and professionalism Other duties as assigned Selling Responsibilities Proudly represent Acadia and its culture, mission, and values Meet or exceed sales expectations Exhibit a firm understanding of the selling process Develop and execute territory business plans Exercise professionalism, leadership, and teamwork at all times Adhere to all Acadia company policies.
