GlassRatner works with law firms, lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies of all types on complex business challenges such as managing through a business crisis or bankruptcy, planning and executing a major acquisition or divestiture, pursuing a fraud investigation or corporate litigation. GlassRatner employs approximately 200 professionals located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are seeking a full-time Associate Director in the Restructuring & Turnaround and Forensics & Litigation Support group for our Dallas Office. **What You’ll Be Working On:** As an Associate Director, you will play a key role on client engagements that require rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and clear communication. **Responsibilities:** - Contribute as a core team member in the development and execution of restructuring and turnaround plans - Prepare analysis of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements, business performance and valuation - Analyze financial statements and projections/budgets and develop financial models including 13-week cash flows, liquidity analysis and integrated 3-statement models - Lead clients through various processes, including bankruptcy preparation, liquidation analysis, working capital improvements, credit agreement negotiations and claims evaluation - Utilize analytical, financial and operational skills and knowledge across turnaround, restructuring, bankruptcy and performance improvement engagements - Advise clients on out-of-court workouts, debt restructurings and bankruptcy planning - Work with clients to develop business plans and implement business performance management, working capital and cost reduction initiatives - Develop multi-year financial and operational stabilization and turnaround plans - Engage with client C-suite executives, lawyers, lenders and other industry professionals - Prepare pitch books and background analysis on distressed companies and situations - Communicate effectively with clients and senior team members - Proactively develop internal and external relationships - Train, mentor, and support junior team members to enhance performance, professional development, and delivery quality **What We’re Looking For:** We’re seeking analytically strong professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex financial problems. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college/university; MBA, CPA, CFA, CIRA, CTP a plus - 5-8 years of relevant experience in bankruptcy, insolvency, turnaround & restructuring - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Team player, with an ability to excel in a fast-paced working environment - Ability to multi-task and prioritize demanding projects - Solid understanding of the key operational performance drivers of a business - Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to connect business strategy to performance insights and due diligence findings - Advanced data analytics and visualization skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients - Ability to extract meaningful information from incomplete or unstructured data - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide alternative explanations for intricate issues - Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities - Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and related software and systems - Comfortable working in international and cross border environments - Intellectual curiosity and a proactive desire to learn a…
