Assitant Manager

## Overview The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily retail store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring the store meets sales, production, safety, and customer service standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to supervise and train staff, and a commitment to Goodwill’s mission, vision, and values. The Assistant Manager must support sales and expense goals, enforce safety, security, and loss prevention procedures, and maintain an efficient, customer-focused shopping environment. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, proficiency with computer systems, and possession of a valid Texas driver’s license with insured transportation. ## Description The Assistant Manager supports daily retail store operations and provides leadership in the absence of the Store Manager. This role is responsible for assisting with sales performance, staff supervision, customer service excellence, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. The Assistant Manager helps train and guide team members, ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, and promotes a safe, welcoming environment for customers, donors, and employees.
