Assisted Living Environmental Service Associate

We are searching for an **Environmental Service Associate** to work the following schedule: **Schedule:** **Full-Time: 30 hours per week including every other weekend.** Must be available to work mornings, evenings and mid shift when needed. **Hourly Rate: $ 17.50** Chatham Place is the Assisted Living / Memory Care Community that is part of Mary Wade. Visit [www.marywade.org](http://www.marywade.org/) to see our gorgeous campus and learn more about our services and history. **Qualifications:** - Previous environmental service/housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting a plus - Self-starter that displays initiative and positivity. - Demonstrates cooperation and teamwork with peers and other departments. - Engages in positive customer service interaction with residents, families and visitors. - Takes ownership of an error in delivery of service and works to correct the problem. - Contributes to meeting the fluctuating staffing needs of the department as evidenced by flexibility in own assignments and work schedules. - Attends all mandatory education and in-service programs as indicated by attendance records. - Displays good attendance and is punctual. - Will work weekends and/or holidays as needed. **Job Responsibilities:** - Assist Environmental Service Director as needed and be able to delegate assignments to the Environmental Services team members in a diplomatic manner. - Responsible for general housekeeping duties in accordance with policies and procedures. - Responsible to fill-in Laundry Dept. as needed. - Performs duties to ensure the cleanliness of offices, public areas, restrooms, stairwells, elevators and corridors and resident rooms. - Receives all incoming freight orders and delivers orders to appropriate storage areas. - Assists in seasonal cleaning projects (floor and carpet care) - Perform porter responsibilities - Attends to any reasonable request from the Director of Environmental Services - Performs duties as needed in the event of a call out when no replacement is available. - Life struggles causing stress?
