They also provide all required lighting, sound, and staging for events at their assigned location(s). Supervises and directs seasonal and part-time technical staff. **Experience, Knowledge, Skills:** Minimum Requirements: - High School Diploma. - Two to four (2-4) years of relevant experience. OR - Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job, AND - Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred: - Bachelor’s Degree in related field. - Four (4) years of experience in a performing arts center. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art theatrical equipment and systems. - Knowledge of theater design, acoustics, and production needs. - Experience with computerized light boards and equipment, digital / analog audio consoles and outboard gear, personal computers, and stage rigging. - Experience with Audio / Video NLE software. - Experience with complicated practices and precedents. - Ability to work events and performances as scheduled including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. - Ability to solve a variety of problems in situations where there are substantially diversified procedures, specialized standards, and only limited standardization; choose and produce a practical course of action within the established processes. **Travel:** - Category A-Standard Local Travel: This position requires occasional local travel within the County. Employees may be expected to walk or drive short distances to attend meetings, trainings, or perform work at other city buildings or partner sites. **Essential Functions:** - The ATSC role is typically 70% managing technical operations, 30% hands-on technical work. - Supervises and directs seasonal and part-time technical staff. - Assigns work and establishes work schedules. - Monitors employee performance and provides coaching. - Develops and implements an ongoing training program for seasonal employees on lighting and sound equipment. - Performs el…
