Assistant-Technical Laboratory

**Job Summary** Provides support to the operation of the Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes resulting in optimal patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. **Responsibilities** - Performs phlebotomy and specimen collections. - Assesses and maintains quality of specimens. - Communicates with patients and customers. - Assesses specimens. - Performs urine drug screen collections and industrial screening as required. - Supports life long learning. - Completes assigned goals. **Specifications** **Experience** **Minimum Required** **Preferred/Desired** **Education** **Minimum Required** - High school diploma or equivalent - Skill in communicating clearly and effectively in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
