This role works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a **safe, nurturing, and responsive environment** where infants feel secure and supported during their earliest stages of development. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about **infant care, early childhood development, and building strong relationships with young children and families**. Key Responsibilities - Assist the Lead Teacher with **daily infant care routines**, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and rest schedules. - Provide a warm and responsive environment that supports infants’ individual needs and routines. - Engage infants in **age-appropriate sensory, language, and developmental activities**. - Observe and respond to infants’ cues, behaviors, and developmental milestones. - Maintain a **safe, clean, and organized classroom environment**. - Support classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities. - Assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining classroom organization. - Communicate and collaborate effectively with teachers and staff. - Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines. Qualifications - **High School Diploma or equivalent required.** - Experience working with **infants or young children in a childcare setting preferred**. - Understanding of basic infant care and early childhood development. - Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. - Patient, reliable, and attentive to children’s needs. Preferred Skills - Experience in an **infant classroom, childcare center, or early learning environment**. - Knowledge of responsive caregiving and infant development. - Ability to create a calm, nurturing, and consistent environment. - CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
