Assistant RNG Area Supervisor

**YOUR OPPORTUNITY** We have an exciting **Assistant RNG Area Supervisor** opportunity in our Renewable Natural Gas operations. The Assistant RNG Area Supervisor will support the RNG Area Supervisor in leading daily operations, maintenance coordination, safety compliance, and team development across multiple Renewable Natural Gas facilities. This position assists with ensuring safe and proper operation of RNG site equipment, supports operators in the field, helps coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities, and contributes to operational reporting, production tracking, and continuous improvement efforts. Owned by Seaboard Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, and nominated as one of the “Best Places to Work” by Kansas City’s Business Journal, we have a dynamic culture where our employees can contribute and understand why they matter. **** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** *This list is not intended to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.* - Support, train, and mentor RNG operators to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient site performance. - Help monitor site operations and communicate startups, shutdowns, curtailments, constraints, and production-related updates. - Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including production data, site status updates, maintenance activity, and operational performance. - Support proper recordkeeping of preventative maintenance, inspections, work orders, and equipment data files. - Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating planned shutdowns and maintenance activities. - Help ensure maintenance work is completed through the work order system and in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, company procedures, and required frequencies. - Diagnose and support repair of RNG control systems and assist with minor mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. - Follow and reinforce established best practices for the safe operation of all plant equipment and associated systems. - Monitor RNG site performance and escalate operational concerns to the RNG Area Supervisor or appropriate personnel. - Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to help resolve maintenance, operational, billing, or site-related issues. - Assist with KPI tracking, budget awareness, inventory needs, and operational efficiency improvements. - Promote professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and ethical conduct within the RNG operations team. - Maintain good housekeeping standards at all RNG facilities and ensure operators follow site cleanliness expectations. - Respond to RNG site issues as needed, including after-hours callouts when required. - Support other operational areas through collaboration with the RNG Area Supervisor and other members of management. - Perform other duties as assigned, which may include assisting with billing documentation, site balance reporting, compliance support, and special projects.
