We are actively seeking an **Assistant Project Manager** in our **King of Prussia, PA** office. As an **Assistant Project Manager** with **HRG**, you will be responsible for supporting project managers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in civil engineering project management. You will help deliver impactful infrastructure projects that improve communities, working closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with the design and development of municipal and water resources projects, including stormwater, utilities, roads, and site improvements - Prepare and coordinate permit applications (e.g., PADEP, PENNDOT), ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations - Participate in site visits, contractor meetings, and review of submittals to ensure project quality and compliance - Help develop project budgets, monitor performance in project management system, and support billing and invoicing efforts - Represent the company in meetings, contribute to proposals, and support business development in the municipal sector - Prepare plans, specifications, contract documents, cost opinions, and funding applications - Ensure accuracy and quality of all calculations, reports, and design criteria - Work closely with project managers, engineers, technicians, and clients to deliver successful projects - Participate in staff training and provide input on staffing needs **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field - E.I.T. Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred - 4+ years of professional civil engineering experience, with a focus on municipal consulting, stormwater, roads, utilities, construction administration, ordinance, plan review, PADEP permits, grant applications, project presentations, and specification writing - Experience preparing drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control calculations and reports - Experience with project manuals, construction specifications, contract administration, and subdivision and land development ordinances for municipal plan reviews - Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a client-focused approach - Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Hydraflow Storm Sewers (or similar stormwater modeling programs) - Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc. - Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays - Valid US Driver’s License is required - Legal authorization to work in the U.S. **Life at HRG** Are you a creative problem solver who wants to make a difference in people’s everyday lives?
