The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College seeks a qualified candidate for a full-time (12 month), tenure-track faculty position in the Holzer School of Nursing. Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) based on qualifications. Rio is seeking an experienced nurse educator with a record of teaching in RN-BSN and ADN programs. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds. The standard load is 24 hours per academic year with additional responsibilities to include student advising/mentoring, participation in departmental activities, scholarship/research, and/or University or community service. The successful candidate will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction using online, hybrid, and traditional teaching delivery modalities. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Earned Masters in Nursing by the time of the appointment - At least two years of experience in the Nursing Field - Eligible for Ohio RN license **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master in Nursing Education, Doctorate in nursing or related field, a minimum of five years of teaching, clinical, and leadership experience, and evidence of scholarship. - Experience in areas including Behavioral and Mental Health Nursing, Medical-Surgical nursing, Research, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Leadership. **Application Instructions:** Applicants must send a cover letter detailing their interest and qualifications, updated resume/CV, transcripts (unofficial accepted for application purposes), as well the names and contact information of at least three professional references to Alycia Combs, Nursing Program Director, through the University's online application portal.
