The Assistant Division Chief (ADC) provides leadership and management support to a division responsible for supporting SHA’s capital and operating programs regarding environmental permitting, compensatory mitigation, and environmental regulatory compliance. EPD is the lead division responsible for the avoidance and minimization of impacts to regulated natural resources (wetlands and waterways/trees/critical area) and for the planning, design, advertisement, monitoring, adaptive management, and remediation of all compensatory mitigation and stewardship projects. Two (2) years of experience in natural resource permitting and/or mitigation. ***The ideal candidate will have experience managing/supervising professional teams, including environmental scientists and/or project managers.*** **Notes:** 1. Possession of a master's degree in one of the disciplines required may be substituted for one year of the required non-supervisory experience. 2.
