In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee, guide, and inspire our nursing department. Interprets operation procedures and policies and reviews work performance to determine conformance to recog­nized standards. Maintains quality of resident care. Investigates and studies trends and developments in nursing practices and techniques, and evaluates adaptability to needs of specific nursing program. Coordinates resident medical care in facility. Visits residents periodically to evaluate status and expected needs. Evaluates resident condition and coordinates follow-up. Assists family, physicians, social services as needed for decision making as related to resident care. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Responsible for attending morning meeting.
