**Title:** Assistant Director, Elon University Charlotte **Position Type:** Staff Full-Time **Days Per Week:** Monday-Saturday **Hours Per Week:** 40 **VP Area:** Strategic Initiatives **Department:** Strategic Initiatives **Location:**Off Campus **Position Summary** The Assistant Director supports the work of National Campus Programs which is housed under University Advancement and External Affairs. This position helps support the Boldly Elon strategic plan. This position is based in Charlotte, NC at 330 W. Tremont Ave at the Elon University Charlotte Campus and reports to the Director of Elon Charlotte. Evening and weekend work required. Training in Elon’s Student Life policies and protocols including Title IX, inclusive excellence, student conduct, and wellness will be required. CPR training will be required within three months of starting. Position is fully in person; remote work is not available. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact and support person for students enrolled in undergraduate academic programs. Elon Charlotte offers year-round undergraduate programs. With a focus on experiential learning, students are immersed in a mix of coursework, co-curricular activities, alumni and professional networking, and experiential learning during their time in Charlotte. Should have a genuine interest in Residence Life and Student Life work. **Preferred Education and Experience** Experience with experiential and co-horted learning models such as study abroad or youth camps or other student-focused advising experiences. Event planning experience, program management experience, a data-driven mindset, and passion for building relationships is a plus.
