Assistant Controller

About the Role The Assistant Controller is a key financial leader responsible for partnering with the VP, Financial Operations & Controller, to oversee accounting operations, technical accounting, financial reporting, and other related functions. This is a senior accounting leadership role, with leveling at the Senior Manager or Director commensurate with the individual's experience, scope of expertise, and demonstrated leadership. In this role, you will set direction, improve key processes, lead through others, and ensure the company's operations are efficient, audit-ready, and aligned with business strategy. This role will own the technical accounting and reporting governance framework globally—including revenue recognition, leases, equity compensation, impairments, business combinations, strategic transactions, new products, non-standard commercial arrangements, and emerging standards—while supporting Finance, Legal, Tax, People, Sales Operations, executive leadership, external auditors, and outside advisors. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise alongside a passion for people development, process improvement, and innovation. You'll help scale the accounting organization by developing talent, strengthening controls, improving close and reporting discipline, and championing practical AI and automation to build a finance function that is fast, accurate, and built for growth.
