Assistant Commissary Production Manager

## Description TASTE is looking for an energetic, hard-working, and talented Assistant Commissary Manager to join our team! The TASTE Family of Businesses prepares retail-ready items and scratch-made recipes for all TASTE store locations. The Assistant Commissary Manager will help oversee the production of scratch-made items including soups, salad dressings, pimento cheese, multiple varieties of chicken salad, pasta salads, potato salad, and cole slaw. ### Position Details - Full Time - No Late Nights! - Bonus Eligible ### Benefits Offered - Health Insurance - Vision Insurance - Dental Insurance - 401(k) - Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Paid Time Off - Volunteer Time Off ### Responsibilities - Prepare and oversee production of scratch-made recipes for TASTE retail locations - Produce items including soups, salad dressings, pimento cheese, chicken salads, pasta salads, potato salad, and cole slaw - Execute daily prep lists and follow recipe guidelines - Package and label food items accurately for store delivery - Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are upheld - Maintain consistency and quality across all products - Support daily production goals and maintain par levels - Communicate with commissary leadership regarding prep needs and timelines - Participate in deep cleaning and kitchen organization tasks - Work collaboratively with commissary team members - Come join the TASTE team and help create the quality products our guests love! ## Requirements - Previous kitchen or food production experience preferred - Ability to follow recipes and prep lists - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings - Reliable transportation required ### Physical Demands The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
