Assistant Coach Mens Volleyball (Fall 2026 Start)

The Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach assists with future athlete recruitment and the coaching of current student athletes. This position also helps provide proper public relations of events by providing personal interviews to the media as a representative of the College. Classification: Athletic Coach Coach Duration: Seasonal Salary: $4,387.50/season 1. Assists with all practice session scheduling and team personnel supervision at varsity games 2. Coordinates and collects equipment and supplies; supports needs analysis activities and assists in preparing reports on equipment and supplies needed for the following season 3. Drives College vehicles to away games 4. Prepares reports and/or logs on athlete injuries, sport statistics and inventory of sporting equipment and supplies 5. Provides assistance in the recruitment of high school athletes 6. Assists in public coverage of the sport including releases to the local news media and be available for personal interviews as needed 7. Keeps up to date with department coverage and needs throughout the year ( i.e. event coverage, team meetings 8. Attends required college events (i.e. coaches meetings, open houses, etc.) 9. Participates in annual CSA compliance training and adheres to the guidelines of the Campus Security Act when carrying out the duties of this position 10. Related projects and duties as assigned 1. Associate’s Degree or equivalent (60 college credits) 2. One year of playing experience in high school or college 3. One year of experience coaching in an organized league in the sport for the sport applying to. 4. Possession of valid driver’s license in good standing 5. Possession of First Aid/CPR Certification prior to the start of the season 1. Bachelor’s Degree 2. Two years of experience as an active player for a high school or college team 3. One year of experience coaching at the high school or college level
