Assessment & Authorization Specialist

**BT-350 – Assessment and Authorization Specialist- SME** Skill Level: Subject Matter Expert Herndon, VA (fully on-site, no remote option) **\*\*Please do NOT apply if you do not have an active Poly clearance. Those without a Poly will not be considered.\*\*** **Required Skills:** - Demonstrated experience performing analysis of system vulnerability scans and recommending necessary remediation based on scan result analysis - Demonstrated knowledge of installing and maintaining PKI certificates - Demonstrated experience OpenSSL and TLS encryption protocols - Demonstrated experience with AWS CloudFormation Templates, Load Balancer, Autoscaling, Security Groups, S3 and KMS **Work Requirements:** - Provide INFOSEC guidance and direction to projects from inception through the project life cycle - Actively manage and maintain security Accreditation & Authorization (A&A) on all client systems - Perform analysis of system vulnerability scans and recommend necessary remediation based on scan result analysis - Assist in evaluating and ensuring the compliance of systems/services, assessing vulnerabilities, and providing appropriate security countermeasures - Support the implementation of client's security architecture in compliance with client's enterprise-level security architecture - Plan, develop, and implement system security procedures to include implementing firewalls, SSL, x509, PKI certificates and system hardening (like Linux and Windows) - Manage system access control and security in accordance with client security requirements
