Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world. **Mechanical AssemblerJob Purpose:** Assemble Electro-Mechanical Assemblies per specifications and and inspect complex electrical/electronic subassemblies or assemblies. **Nature of Duties:**  Read, comprehend, interpret & follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, & other written instructions. Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products  Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies  Mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools  Working with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts  Identify product defects and report on to appropriate personnel  Keep accurate records/logs etc.  Handling of ESD sensitive materials and equipment  Perform other related duties as assigned Education and Experience:  High School Diploma or equivalent required  1 - 2 years experience, training is provided  A strong mechanical aptitude.  Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools.  Ability to stand for long periods of time, safely lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance if required).  Basic computer skills – email, work instructions.  Attention to detail.  Good command of the English language, both written and verbal. **Physical Demands:** Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
