Assembler Job Purpose: Assemble Electronic Circuit Boards per specifications and ensuring quality is a priority in our Carrollton TX Facility. Nature of Duties: - Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies, specifically a communication rack. - May include intricate installation, hand soldering, wiring, harnessing and hardware assembly. The daily function may vary from sitting to standing, moving line to stationary; with very light to medium weight components. - Reads and follows detailed, color-coded instructions. Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - 0 – 1 years experience, training is provided - Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy - Must have manual dexterity to handle small parts - Eye-hand coordination is necessary - Must be able to read and understand diagrams, drawings and detailed instructions - Proficient computer and data entry skills preferred - Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas - Able to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required - Adherence to health and safety regulations - Able to work overtime and weekends as needed - Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred. Physical Demands Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
