Assembler

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION:** The purpose of this position is to Read Packing List and Assembly Drawings in order to assemble and package order. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Follow assembly instructions, processes and procedures by reviewing assembly instructions, drawings and parts lists. - Assembles orders by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. - Operate automated assembly machines, including hand-feeding of links, to complete production tasks - Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Leader - Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations - Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** - Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required for building orders. - Ability to lift up to 60 pounds required. - Must be able to stand for long periods of time **REQUIREMENTS:** - Basic reading, writing and math skills required - Follow directions carefully to complete the orders correctly. - Ability to perform repetitive tasks. - Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs. **BENEFITS:** - Competitive base salary with ongoing growth opportunities - Complete benefits package: - Co. paid HSA medical plan - Co. paid Dental - Co. paid Life - Supplemental Life Insurance - Vision Insurance - Short and Long Term Disability Insurance - Retirement with Company contributions - 20 Paid Time Off days per year, plus 9 holidays - Subsidized lunch on-site #INDSJ #INDSJ 7am- 3:30pm & 3:30pm- 12am
