Assembler - 2nd Shift

## Description **2nd Shift hours are from 3 PM-11 PM. Ritz offers a shift differential of an additional $0.59 per hour for 2nd shift on top of your regular base rate.** ***SUMMARY:*** Process and assemble units ***PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*** 1. Verify material you will be working with according to work order 2. Inspect materials prior to use 3. Take completed active parts and load into the oven per schedule 4. Run and monitor the oven process 5. Prep all parts for unit assembly 6. Pull processed active parts from oven and assemble units 7. Put assembled units on secondary vacuum manifold 8. Build bellows assemblies 9. Oil fill units when vacuum is reached 10. Install bellow assembly on unit 11. Maintain sufficient oil level in holding tanks 12. Operate and maintain, reporting problems, with the oil processing station 13. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHAs) 14. Complete daily production logs 15. Clean and maintain work area 16. Other duties as assigned ***ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*** 1. Assist mechanics, machinists, and engineers in repair work. 2. Provide on-the-job training to new employees ***KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:*** 1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent 2. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing 3. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers 4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required ***WORKING CONDITIONS:*** Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of material and product up to 30 pounds.
