**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** - Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. - Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. **Qualifications & Experience:** - **Education:** - High School Diploma. - **Experience:** - MRP experience a plus. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. - **Skills:** - **Blueprint reading** – Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. - **Tool proficiency** – Skilled with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic machinery. - **Measurement skills** – Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precision. - Meet daily production targets. - Maintain consistent speed and accuracy. - Good time management. - Reliable attendance and punctuality. - **Personal Attributes:** - Notices small defects or inconsistencies. - Follows specifications exactly. - Maintains accuracy under production pressure. **Physical Requirements & Work Environment:** - Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts). - Walk between workstations or production areas. - Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. - Lift and carry materials (commonly 25–50 lbs.) - Push/pull carts or equipment. - Handle small parts with precision. - Strong hand-eye coordination. - Ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly. - Fine motor skills for small or detailed components. - Perform repetitive assembly tasks. - Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
