Rocket Lab’s Electron team is responsible for building, testing, and launching our Electron rocket across the United States and New Zealand. Electron is one of the world’s most frequently-launched rockets, and our team behind its success are diligent, move fast, and have each others’ back to deliver a reliable rocket to the launch pad time and time again. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: As part of the Production team at Rocket Lab, the Vehicle Integration team is responsible for the integration of all mechanical and electrical components, final assembly, testing and qualification of the Electron rocket. This team is the last to touch the rocket before it heads to the launch pad! You will be trained by industry leading experts to undertake all aspects of the build required during production, while adhering to Rocket Lab’s High Standards of Quality, as well as meeting the schedule demand set out by the production leadership team. Become a Qualified Aerospace Technician after 3-4 years of paid training. ABOUT YOU: A school leaver or graduate ready to step into full-time work Positive mindset, a fast learner with a can-do attitude Practical skills - good with hands, tools and problem solving A team player with a reliable character and clean background check Previous hands-on experience with mechanical or electronic mechanisms is preferred.
