## Description REPORTS TO: Location manager DEPARTMENT: Agronomy EEO Classification: Operative (semi-skilled) **Primary Purpose:** Provide application and service to customers and customers fields **General Description:** Assist in all facets of business with primary focus on custom application of Fertilizers and ag chemicals **** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** 1. Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments with location manager and/or operations manager. 2. Apply agronomy products to customer’s fields including dry and liquid fertilizer, chemicals, lime and NH3. 3. Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds including mowing, spraying weeds, and moving snow 4. Assist in outbound and inbound agronomy products. 5. Operate all equipment & vehicles according to Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. policies and procedures along with local, state and federal laws. 6. Maintain and record maintenance of application equipment, tending equipment, NH3 equipment, pickups & side dress equipment. 7. Record Daily application logs. 8. Assist with measurement and counting of inventory of dry & liquid fertilizers, NH3 and chemicals. 9. Scout fields for insects and weeds in absence of sales agronomist, etc… 10. Follow all applicable State and Federal DOT rules and regulations. 11. Read, understand and follow all Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. policies and procedures. 12. Comply with all Company, State and Federal Rules, Regulations, and policies. 13. Read, understand and follow all company employee policies. **** Willing to train the right candidate. Farming background is a plus. **OTHER DUTIES:** 1. Able to build morale and group commitments to achieve goals and objectives. 2. Exhibit sound and accurate judgment. 3. Project a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times. 4. Provide courteous customer service. 5. Report even minor injuries using the employee injury report form. 6. Any other duties assigned by location manager. **** **Qualifications:** Reliable vehicle to drive to and from work, valid state motor vehicle license. ## Requirements Ability to get their Applicator's license.
