This role is responsible for ensuring vacant apartment homes are fully prepared and meet company standards prior to new resident move-in. A Make Ready II Technician will also support the maintenance team with routine maintenance tasks and service requests. This position includes participation in on-call rotation for nights/weekends. The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance experience, a solid work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** - Complete repairs, replacements, and touch-ups to ensure apartments are move-in ready. - Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, flooring, and cabinetry as needed. - Patch and paint walls, ceilings, and trim to achieve a high-quality finish. - Change locks and prepare keys for new residents. - Work closely with Property Manager and Lead Maintenance to prioritize work orders and ensure timely unit turnovers. - Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and work orders. - Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical etc. - Follow all applicable EPA and OSHA regulations regarding the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials, including solvents, flammables, caustics, and Freon. **Qualifications:** - 1+ years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance. - EPA Certification - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. - Familiarity with basic plumbing and electrical systems. - Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment.
