As an **Accounts Payable Analyst** in our Finance function within the Spine division, you’ll play a key role in troubleshooting invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate payments — supporting strong financial operations and vendor relationships. **What You’ll Do:** - Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month - Perform root cause analysis to resolve invoice discrepancies and identify process improvement opportunities - Research and resolve aged Goods Receipts Not Invoiced (GRNI) items - Monitor and respond to inquiries from suppliers and internal customers - Review high-risk payments to ensure adequate support and documentation - Maintain ERP master data and ensure data accuracy - Liaise with buyers, requestors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve critical issues preventing payment - Prepare weekly and monthly reports on problem queue invoicing and aging analysis - Maintain documentation to support AP transactions for efficient audit and review - Execute the 1099 reporting process and associated activities - Assist with month-end AP close activities - Collaborate with team members and serve as backup when needed - Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records **What You Bring:** - Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience - 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable - Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) - Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues - General knowledge of collections practices and customer negotiations - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Fluent in English (written and verbal) - Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively **Why VB Spine?** We believe in growing talent from within.
