The inspectors will be responsible for inspection at the Southern Border and inspections in their assigned areas. **Work hours are subject to change during summer hours to coincide with shipping.** Under direction from the Supervising Livestock Officer, the successful candidates will enforce livestock and animal health surveillance at the Arizona/Mexico border pursuant to A.R.S. Title 3, Chapters 4, 11, 12 and 13 (approximately 125 statutory provisions) and A.A.C. Title 3, Chapter 2 (approximately 50 rules); perform administrative record keeping and prepare reports; maintain confidential working relationships with ASD managers, State Veterinarian and supervisors; and operate a state-owned vehicle, trailer, and other equipment. This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).
