In this role, the **OR/PACU RN** will: - Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans - Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery - Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members - Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation - Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed - Provide patient education **What You’ll Bring** We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter. **Qualifications and Skills Include:** - Active RN license - Current BLS and ACLS certification - 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred - Strong technical and clinical assessment skills - Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer - Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment - Ability to communicate accurately and concisely More important than any single credential, however, is the *right person*.
