AM Warehouse Worker - Knoxville, TN

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring an **AM Warehouse Associate**. Our company offers excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** · Receives stock and verifies accuracy of new product. · Rotates stock. · Restocks returned products. · Operates forklift and order picker machines. · Assists with quarterly inventories. · Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. · Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. · Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. · Fills requisitions. · Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. · Marks materials with identifying information. · Opens boxes and other containers. · Prepares parcels for mailing. · Janitorial duties when required. **Education and/or Experience** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations** Forklift or the ability to obtain a forklift certification. **Computer Skills** Basic computer knowledge *“ Empire is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
