ALASKA CAMP MANAGER

The Camp Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of remote Alaska camp facilities supporting drilling and field operations. This position oversees camp personnel, accommodations, food services, housekeeping, logistics coordination, facility maintenance, contractor performance, and camp-related HSE compliance. The Camp Manager serves as the primary point of contact for camp operations and works closely with Operations, HSE, Supply Chain, Logistics, and third-party camp service providers to ensure a safe and efficient living environment for employees and contractors. **Location:** North Slope - Alaska **Schedule:** Rotational assignment (typically 14 days on/14 days off or 21 days on/21 days off). Rotations are subject to operational requirements and may change based on business needs. ### Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day operation of remote camp facilities supporting drilling and field operations. - Ensure camp services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. - Coordinate lodging assignments and occupancy management. - Monitor camp capacity and support workforce planning requirements. - Address employee and contractor concerns related to camp accommodations and services. - Maintain camp operating procedures and documentation. - Promote a strong safety culture and support Nabors' safety programs, policies, and Rules to Live By. - Conduct routine inspections of camp facilities and living quarters. - Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and housekeeping deficiencies. - Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and company safety requirements. - Participate in incident investigations and corrective action development as required. - Coordinate emergency response activities within camp facilities. - Oversee camp service providers, including: - Catering - Housekeeping - Janitorial services - Waste management - Water and sewage systems - Lodging support services - Monitor contractor performance and service quality. - Ensure vendors comply with contractual obligations and HSE expectations. - Review and approve camp-related invoices, service reports, and work orders as assigned. - Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for camp facilities and infrastructure. - Monitor condition of: - Living quarters - Kitchens and dining facilities - Recreation areas - Water systems - Wastewater systems - Utilities and camp support equipment - Work with maintenance personnel and vendors to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance. - Maintain facility inspection records. - Coordinate camp readiness for crew changes and workforce movements. - Support transportation and logistics planning as required. - Work closely with Rig Managers, Field Superintendents, Logistics, and Operations personnel to ensure camp accommodations align with operational needs. - Maintain accurate occupancy and utilization reports. - Monitor camp-related operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Maintain camp inventories and supply levels. - Assist with forecasting and budgeting activities. - Prepare reports related to camp performance, occupancy, inspections, incidents, and service quality. - Provide leadership and direction for camp personnel and contractors. - Promote professional conduct and teamwork throughout camp operations. - Ensure employees and contractors understand and comply with company policies and camp expectations. - Support employee engagement and positive camp culture ### Qualifications - High school diploma or GED. - Minimum 5 years of experience in camp operations, facility management, hospitality management, logistics, or related industrial operations. - Experience supervising employees and/or contractors. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a remote Arctic environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Valid driver's license with acceptab…
