As we scale our e-commerce and crowdfunding clients, we’re supercharging our operations with AI—and we need an **AI Automation Manager** to architect the future of our workflows. ### 🌟 What You’ll Do - **Architect and build AI workflows**— Turn feature requirements into n8n workflows that power web app's AI capabilities (summarization, generation, enrichment, classification, extraction, and more). - **Build for scale & reliability** — Engineer workflows that hold up under volume: batching, retries, idempotency, rate-limit handling, error branches, cost control, and quality gates. - **Integrate APIs & backends** — Call APIs directly, handle auth (API keys, OAuth) and webhooks, and stand up Supabase backends (Postgres tables, row-level security, edge functions) for your workflows to read from and write to. - **Hand off to engineering** — Package each workflow so a developer can integrate it without reverse-engineering: a documented endpoint and payload contract, data models, edge cases, and example requests. File well-formed tickets (e.g., GitHub issues), partner with devs through integration and QA, and keep everything versioned with changelogs so nothing is a black box. - **Write & Curate Prompt Playbooks -** Develop prompt templates, version controls, and “how-to” guides so teammates can tap into AI power with zero hiccups. - **Automate Reporting & Alerts -** Set up bots that deliver daily KPI snapshots, flag performance dips, and notify stakeholders via Slack or email. - **Support ops automation**— Harness **Zapier**, **Make (Integromat)**, and **Airtable AI** alongside ChatGPT, Claude, and custom webhooks to eliminate manual tasks and accelerate every team’s output. - **Own Dashboards & Trackers -** Create real-time Notion databases and Sheets models—complete with AI-generated summaries, anomaly alerts, and dynamic rollups. - **Collaborate Cross-Functionally -** Partner with Marketing, Creative, Finance, and Ops to identify friction points and spin up tailored AI solutions. - **Lead innovation sprints** — Scout emerging AI platforms, n8n nodes, and serverless tooling, and run rapid pilots that boost efficiency. ### ✅ Must-Have Skills - **AI & Prompt Engineering:** Hands-on with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar—solid prompt-engineering chops. - **No-Code Automation Pro:** Expert user of **Zapier**, **Make (Integromat)**, and **n8n**—building multi-step workflows, webhooks, error handling, and custom integrations. - **Notion & Google Sheets Mastery:** Advanced databases, rollups, Apps Script/Macros, pivot tables, and dynamic formulas. - **Systems & Documentation:** Built and documented complex SOPs or workflow libraries that teammates actually use. - **E-comm/Agency Ops:** 2+ years architecting tools for fast-paced marketing or DTC teams. - **Clear Communicator:** Able to translate tech jargon into simple “click-by-click” guides and run lively training sessions. - **Supabase / databases** — Schema design, basic SQL, row-level security, and edge functions; comfort with relational data. - **Dev handoff & documentation** — Can spec AI workflows from n8n and hand off to developers as endpoint APIs with documentation guidelines Nice To Have Skills - Built AI features inside a SaaS product before - Self-hosting n8n (Docker, env vars, queue mode) ### 🎁 What We Offer - **100% Remote:** Work where you do your best thinking. - **Flexible Schedule:** Own your hours—so long as you overlap for key meetings. - **AI Learning Budget:** Access cutting-edge tools, courses, and conferences. - **Fast-Paced Culture:** Join a small, scrappy team that celebrates wins big and learns fast.
