As an Agent Engineer, you'll implement, configure, and optimize the platform for customers' unique HR environments. Note: this is not a software-engineering role — you won't be shipping product code. WHAT YOU'LL DO Configure and deploy integrations with SSO, SCIM, and HRIS/HCM platforms (Workday, UKG, Dayforce, SAP, SharePoint, Google Drive). Gather technical requirements from customers and present workflow designs. Build agentic HR workflows across policy administration, employee support, service delivery, and HR operations. Synchronize customer content via RAG. Develop configurable extraction algorithms. Provide first-line technical escalation. Manage a portfolio of 6–8 accounts and advocate for product improvements. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE First 90 days: ramp on the platform and own configuration for early accounts. First year: run a healthy portfolio of deployments and drive measurable customer outcomes. MUST-HAVES 3–7 years as a Solutions Engineer, FDE, or similar technical customer-facing role; hands-on with APIs/REST; Python proficiency; strong customer-facing skills. NICE-TO-HAVES HRIS/HCM integration experience; RAG/agentic-workflow experience; familiarity with modern AI tooling. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $150K–$180K base (USD), competitive equity. LOCATION & WORK MODEL Hybrid in Redwood City, CA (Mon/Tue in office) or 100% remote within the US. HIRING PROCESS Our team will walk you through the full interview process when we connect.
