Aerospace Project Manager

**Summary of the Role:** The Project Manager will support the Aerospace Hydraulics and Actuation, Engines, and Space segment by managing customer projects and completing technical requirements from start to finish. The Project Manager (PM) role is necessary to support TSS targeted growth in the space customers. The job requires project management and experience with seals, ability to manage and lead project teams both directly and indirectly, effectively communicate commercial and technical concepts with customers, work independently at times and meet established deadlines. In addition, the appropriate candidate must be able to self-manage project tasks and deliverables, be familiar with risk mitigation and able to travel to support projects. The PM role will manage and coordinate customer projects, as well as development and process improvement projects, ensuring progress action of all tasks as well as completing technical requirements to ensure project schedule commitments are met. **Tasks and Responsibilities:** - This role will be responsible for several activities. These activities include but are not limited to: - Manage projects by following TSS AHA Airframe Project Management Process and AS9100 requirements - Development, coordinate and/or manage customer requests (RFI, RFQ, Q&A) including creation of quotations or proposals - Risk mitigation using various project management tools and internally developed tools - Understanding of customer requirements, applications, products, manufacturing process complete feasibility review - Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project - Interpret or develop technical requirements or solutions as needed - Coordinate technical and commercial reviews as needed to ensure project success - Ensure commitments to all project deliverables are completed and on time - Ensure quality and delivery requirements are captured, communicated and completed - Develop, coordinate and/or manage awarded projects (scheduling, risk planning, task management, testing, qualification, Q&A) - Support factories as needed to fulfill project deliverables - Facilitate regular meetings (including kick-off meeting) with project stake holders to maintain communication, project status - Regularly update project tracking and project status documents - Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time - Work with cross functional groups to deliver to project commitments **Education and Experience:** - Minimum 1 year experience in project management in a corporate engineering setting required - Bachelors degree required, engineering or other relevant technical degree strongly preferred - Project management experience, PMP, CAPM, PgMP or equivalent certification preferred - Aerospace industry experience preferred. - Experience with JDEdwards a plus **Competencies:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Project - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Technical and commercial communication skills - Understanding of seal manufacturing processes - Space market knowledge a plus **Travel:** - Up to 25% travel **Application:** [**Apply here!**](https://recruiting.ultipro.com/TRE1005TRLB/JobBoard/bf609905-b672-4f89-9d89-d81248503343/Opportunity/OpportunityDetail?opportunityId=f30348f1-5856-44eb-a30f-e93a8a81541c) Last Application Date 8/8/2026 The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level.
