May assign daily work and acts as a mentor for less experienced professionals DMNC Advanced Production Specialist Core Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM **\*\* A RESUME IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. - Improves production methods and determines manufacturing capacity. - Fabricates, modifies and evaluates manufacturing processes such as assembly and material handling. - May assist with time and cost estimates. - Collaborates with other engineering groups to review drawings and designs during the product development process. - Develops and implements process improvements to meet quality standards and solves manufacturing problems. - Creates necessary documentation and aides in communication to personnel. - Studies and makes recommendations for manufacturing facility layout regarding items such as sequence of operations, equipment layout and utilization and other related items. - Researches new manufacturing methods, equipment and other manufacturing technologies and makes recommendations for implementation. - Serves as a resource for answering and solving more complex technical questions related to manufacturing and quality processes and proactively addresses resource issues to ensure that project timelines are met. - Ensures that the organization’s processes and equipment comply with all safety laws and regulations. - Delivers more complex presentations - Analyzes current processes, procedures and systems and makes recommendations for improvement for own job. - Recommends whether or not proposed changes or improvements be implemented. - Performs other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
