Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

**Objective of the Position:** Plan and design the manufacturing processes, including equipment, tooling, gauging and testing, for Request for Quotations (RFQ’s) per the worldwide standards. Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that - SOR for Equipment (Weld cells, banding stations, leak check station, & Gage stations) - SOR of integrate if CV program (Full turnkey system) - Review all quotes and determine best fit with Core Team ME - Develop presentation on forecast spending and process layout to Management on new program(s) (CAC) - Enter Equipment Purchase Requisitions (PR) into SAP and track it until full approval - Core Team ME will provide equipment #’s and OP #’s - Make sure PO(s) go out on time to supplier (work with Purchasing) - Get timeline from supplier and make sure to track frequently to stay on time with Core Team ME overall program timing - Frequent meeting with supplier(s) - Equipment Design Reviews - Make sure supplier is designing equipment to our standards - Completed design sign off with supplier before building any equipment - Include Controls, robotics, & HSE is all design review and sign off - Work with Core Team ME to make sure material is available when supplier needs it to debug equipment - Support PFMEA lead by Core Team ME - Attend Pre Acceptance at supplier(s) - Fill out required Purem Equipment Acceptance Documents - Attend Final Acceptance at plant - Fill out required Purem Equipment Acceptance Documents - Support plant with equipment industrialization and installation - Provide equipment specs and layouts to plant once design is completed - Make sure plant supports Pre Acceptance at facilities - Support IPT & MPT runs at plant - Aline with EU on equipment and processes Standard - Support plant CIP group in projects - Follow and support the EBOS process - Track Equipment Capacity across all plants - Maintain good working relationship with Eberspaecher Germany for the efficient. exchange of experience related to process design. - Use Eberspaecher tooling and process standards in the development of new processes. - Create and execute Annual Personal Business Plan that supports EETAM Annual Business Plan. Requirement Profile: Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience: - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering or equivalent experience - Minimum five years’ manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering experience working for an automotive supplier in welding or metal fabrication. - Minimum three years in process development. - Ability to travel domestically by car or plane. - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office. - Understanding of GD&T.
