Adults Social Worker – Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker – Learning Disabilities for its client’s Community Learning Disability Team based in Havering. This is a full-time agency role offering £30–£32 per hour, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently, remain safe, and access the services they need to achieve positive outcomes. Benefits Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Ongoing training, CPD, and career development opportunities Supportive management and collaborative team environment Your Main Responsibilities Manage a caseload of adults with learning disabilities, including complex cases where appropriate Undertake person-centred assessments, reviews, and support planning Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments Support safe hospital discharges and prevent avoidable admissions Develop and review personalised care and support plans Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team alongside health and social care professionals Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives Provide mentoring or supervision support to colleagues where appropriate What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you must have: A recognised Social Work qualification Current Social Work England (SWE) registration Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation Strong multi-agency partnership working skills Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families Why Liquid Personnel?
