Adults Social Worker – Community Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker for its client’s Community Team based in Croydon. This is a full-time agency role offering up to £34 per hour, with hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults within the local community. Benefits of the Role Competitive pay rate of up to £34 per hour Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Ongoing training, CPD, and career development opportunities Supportive management and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work within a well-established Adult Social Care service Meaningful role supporting adults to achieve independence and improved wellbeing Your Duties as an Adults Social Worker Manage a caseload of adults with varying levels of need, including complex cases where appropriate Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and reassessments Develop and review person-centred support plans that promote independence and wellbeing Undertake safeguarding enquiries and manage risk effectively Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and apply the Mental Capacity Act where appropriate Support hospital discharges and help prevent unnecessary admissions Work collaboratively with health services, housing providers, voluntary organisations, and other partner agencies Provide information, advice, and guidance to adults and their carers Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where required Qualifications and Experience Required A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent) Current Social Work England (SWE) registration Experience completing assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within Adult Social Care Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and related legislation Strong multi-agency partnership working skills Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families Why Liquid Personnel?
