# **Join Our Team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON / MDS Coordinator)** ### **Lead Clinical Excellence Through Quality Care, Compliance & Resident Assessments** We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / MDS Coordinator** to join our growing team! This leadership role is essential to ensuring high-quality resident care, accurate clinical assessments, regulatory compliance, and strong support for our nursing team. Success in this position requires excellent clinical judgment, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. ## **Your Impact as an ADON / MDS Coordinator** In this role, you will: - **Support Nursing Leadership:** Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily operations of the nursing department while providing leadership and support to clinical staff. - **Coordinate Resident Assessments:** Oversee admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, and significant change MDS assessments while ensuring timely completion and communication with nursing and interdisciplinary teams. - **Develop Individualized Care Plans:** Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and consultants to develop and update resident-centered care plans. - **Ensure Regulatory Compliance:** Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations related to nursing services, MDS, documentation, and resident care. - **Maintain Clinical Documentation:** Review resident records, MDS assessments, and care plans for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. - **Support Quality Improvement:** Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives, Quality Measures, Infection Prevention, and other quality assurance programs. - **Lead Interdisciplinary Coordination:** Coordinate care plan meetings, Medicare meetings, and interdisciplinary discussions to promote continuity of care. - **Provide Staff Leadership:** Assist with hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, evaluating, and supporting nursing staff while promoting a positive team culture. - **Support Resident Care:** Provide direct clinical support and assist with floor staffing when needed to ensure quality resident care. - **Monitor Clinical Reporting:** Generate quality reports, submit MDS assessments accurately and on time, and communicate findings with facility leadership. - **Ensure Resource Readiness:** Help maintain adequate nursing supplies, equipment, and resources needed to support resident care. - **Continue Professional Growth:** Stay current on industry regulations, best practices, and MDS requirements through ongoing education. ## **What Makes You a Great Fit** We're looking for someone who: - Holds a current nursing license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing. - Has experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing. - Has experience with MDS assessments, care planning, and regulatory compliance. - Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, assessment, and organizational skills. - Understands federal and state nursing home regulations. - Is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Works well independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams. - Is passionate about improving resident outcomes through quality clinical care. ## **Benefits (Full-Time)** **Comprehensive Coverage:** Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance **Extra Protection:** AD&D, Short-Term Disability, Cancer, Critical Illness, and more **Life Insurance:** Whole and Term Policies **Professional Growth:** Tuition Reimbursement for continued education **Time to Recharge:** Paid Time Off **Retirement Planning:** Immediate 401(k) eligibility **Unwavering Support:** Exceptional corporate resources ## **Equal Opportunity Employer** Creative Solutions in Healthcare is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
