**Job Summary:** Contribute to the Enrollment team’s overall digital content strategy, including identifying needs and proposing solutions. Utilize and leverage digital solutions like mobile apps, social media platforms, virtual event platforms, and CRM tools to engage with prospective students throughout the student recruitment lifecycle. Duties will include content management strategy, managing social media apps & platforms to leverage enrollment, monitoring social activity, and creative collaboration with the Enrollment team and other departments. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Content Strategy & Creation:** Develop engaging social media content calendars, research trends, and craft compelling captions and scripts that resonate with prospective students. - **Video Production:** Conceptualize and create engaging video content, including a series of Q&As featuring the campus community and athletics highlights. - **On-Camera Presence:** Be a confident and engaging on-camera personality, representing Maryville University with authenticity and enthusiasm. - **Community Management:** Oversee live events within our digital engagement platform (ZeeMee), fostering interaction and addressing prospective student inquiries promptly and professionally. - **Influencer Management:** Lead and mentor a team of student influencers, empowering them to share their Maryville experiences and perspectives. - **Data Analysis & Reporting:** Monitor social media performance metrics, identify trends, and generate reports to inform future content strategy and optimize engagement. **Professional Development & Growth:** This apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, video editing, and influencer management. You will develop essential skills in communication, leadership, critical thinking, and data analysis – all in a supportive and collaborative environment. **Key Projects & Deliverables:** - Live Event Schedule & Documentation - Social Media Content Calendar & Performance Reports - Edited Video Content - Influencer Management Plan **** **Alignment with University Goals:** Your work will contribute directly to Maryville's strategic goals for Admissions - **Five-Star Service:** You'll cultivate a welcoming and interactive online environment that fosters positive relationships with prospective students. - **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Your insights from social media analytics will inform data-driven strategies to maximize engagement and reach. - **Innovative & Creative Marketing:** You'll explore new trends and experiment with fresh ideas to captivate prospective students. - **Diversity & Inclusion:** Your content will celebrate Maryville's diverse student body and showcase a welcoming campus environment for all. **Qualifications:** - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Creativity and a passion for social media content creation - Video editing experience (preferred) - Positive and engaging on-camera presence - Team player with leadership potential - Detail-oriented and self-motivated - Excellent time management skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Enrolled in a Communication or Marketing program at Maryville University - Completion of courses like COMM-231 & COMM-232 (or equivalent) **Work Environment:** - Hybrid/Flexible with a blend of independent work and collaboration. **Position Pay:** $16.25/hr **Hours per week:** 10 hrs **Start Date:** 8/24/2026 **End Date:** 4/16/2027 **NOTE: Applicants must be work study eligible and have a work study award in their financial aid package to apply for this position.**
