**ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS TECHNICIAN** **OPEN RECRUITMENT 12-MONTH ELIGIBILITY LIST****RANGE 28,** **$5,157.321 - $6,341.70** **MONTHLY** **CURRENT VACANCY: 100%, 12 MONTHS** **This recruitment will be used to fill current and future vacancies across multiple departments within the District.** **\*Applications will only be accepted on August 11, 2026 from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. \*** Join the Long Beach Community College District as an Admissions and Records Technician, where you’ll perform a variety of specialized and technical admissions and records functions in support of student success. In this role, you will process admissions applications, register students, maintain student records, process transcript requests, prepare enrollment and degree verifications, and provide information regarding District admissions, registration, and records policies and procedures to students, staff, and the public. This position requires strong organizational and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply admissions, registration, and records policies while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, candidates must possess an Associate’s degree in business or public administration or a closely related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible clerical and administrative office support experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Successful candidates who pass all parts of the examination process will be placed on the **eligibility list** **\*** in order of their relative merit as determined by these competitive examinations. **AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION** - **Type of position:** Full time (40 hours/week) / Bargaining Unit - **Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - **Location:** Trades, Technology, and Community Learning Campus (TTC) but support both campuses - **Salary:** [Range 28](https://www.lbcc.edu/sites/main/files/file-attachments/appendix_a_-_salary_schedule.pdf?1722286798), $5,157.321 - $6,341.70 Monthly - **\*Eligibility list** **: Will be valid for 12 months** once approved or ratified by the Personnel Commission. We reserve the right to use the established eligibility list for vacancies (permanent and temporary) in this classification as well as related classifications - **Advanced salary placement:** Generally, new employees start at the first step on the salary schedule.
